Birthday Flowers [Polaroid SX-70 on Polaroid 600 film]
My birthday present to myself was a beautiful old Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera from eBay. Sadly, it seems to be malfunctioning, as only 2 of the 5 photos I've shot with it so far have turned out. The first was all black, the second and 5th all white (yellowish-white.) This was the 3rd. The 4th worked ok but was very overexposed (which is normal, as I didn't have the appropriate filter on it to use 600 film). I have no idea why this one worked and the others didn't. Sad :-(
25 Random Things About Me, Continued:
6) In junior high, my friends and I would often spend our saturdays taking the bus from Bellevue to Seattle, where we'd repeat the same activities, our favorite of which was riding the elevator to the top of the Smith Tower, sneaking into the men's bathroom, climbing out the window, and sitting outside on the ledge (that window has bars now). We'd end those days in a drugstore, emptying our pockets onto a photocopier, capturing bus transfer passes, movie tickets, KFOX stickers, notes, loose change, and lint.
