Tonight my good friend Ariel Meadow Stallings had her book release party for her new book, Offbeat Bride: Taffeta-Free Alternatives for Independent Brides at The Rendezvous in Seattle. Offbeat Bride is part wedding memoir, and part handbook for other offbeat couples planning their own weddings. The event started with a book reading in the Jewelbox Theater, then moved downstairs to The Grotto, where a bachelorette-themed party awaited, complete with Penis Cake.
