Haleakala summit at sunrise [Maui, Hawaii] Canon EOS 20D w/70-200mm f4 L Zoom

This morning I greeted the sun from Haleakala summit as it rose over Haleakala crater, 10,023 feet into the clouds. This evening I danced with my hoop on the shores of Kamaole Beach as the sun set, feet in the Pacific Ocean. Today I snorkeled with a giant turtle. Tonight I practiced yoga on a sandy beach under Venus.

I've escaped to Maui, where after two months of hard times and great sadness, I'm slowly starting to feel like Dawn again.
