Jay Allen is a superhero! At the very least, he's probably just become the world's most popular blogger.
It turns out the the people who have been spamming my comments have also been busy spamming a lot of other websites, and Jay (AKA the guy I almost married and probably should have) has written the solution, MT Blacklist, a plugin for blocking comment spam for Movable Type users. Yay for Jay! So I hereby proclaim today Jay Allen Appreciation Day.
Now I just need to figure out how to upgrade my Movable Type (yes, I really am still using MT 2.21) and install plugins...
