We are on the eve of war. This is heavy on my heart and never far from my mind. I have done my part to make my voice a part of the collective protest, and I will continue to pray for peace.
Tonight I'm going swing dancing. It feels somehow wrong to be dancing on the eve of war...yet I'm going. In America, anyhow, life goes on...

And somehow I think that this particular war is going to be with us for a long time - not the actual fighting, but its consequences.
Life goes on, though. You have said it.
